![]() ![]() We think about him every day and are thankful for the memories we hold in our hearts. Tad was enjoying a life long family vacation area and fixing up their cabin when he unexpectedly passed away. ![]() Tad and Sarah's latest retirement venture was the purchase of a cabin in Cuchara, Colo. His eight nieces and nephews and his sixteen great nieces and nephews never missed a confetti filled birthday card. The perfect calm and thoughtful little brother to Chip, Cathy and Cheri and devoted husband to Sarah for 23 years. Tad was an incredibly patient and kind person who moved at at one pace only.his! He had a head for details, electronics, automobiles, humor and cross word puzzles. Their home was never without rescue pets, their four-legged kids. Maui, Hawaii was one of their annual favorites. Tad and Sarah shared a passion for sports, snow skiing, broadway shows and travel. 13, 1997 and settled into Okla.City where Tad started working for "David Stanley Dodge". Despite the differences in school alliance their love would prove more powerful than the "House Divided OSU/OU". City when he laid eyes on Sarah Crosby, the love of his life. ![]() On a fateful day in May of 1997 Tad was attending the Big 12 Baseball Tournament in Okla. A life long affinity for cars and a job offer at "Thomas Ford" brought him back to his beloved OSU and Stillwater in 1995. Texas was calling during the early 90's for a stint at Austin's Presbyterian Seminary before moving to Brenham where he worked as a probation officer. Tad graduated from OSU with a degree in Science Recreation. He moved back to Stillwater in the late 80's to work in the hotel industry and finish his degree. #Tad cooper registration#He spent several years in the early 80's working in registration and assisting with the ranch ministry group. Tad spent a few years attending OSU before venturing out to an opportunity at Furnace Creek Ranch in Death Valley, CA. Tad attended Will Rogers Elementary and graduated from C.E. Tad was very involved in Cub Scouts and Boy Scout Troop 20 at Stillwater's First Presbyterian Church earning his Eagle Scout Rank in 1977. Attending football, basketball and wrestling events was an everyday part of life. He and his best friend, Ken King, spent several years as bat boys for the OSU Baseball team. OSU sports was a priority in the Cooper home and Tad was born a loyal OSU fan. Tad Houston Cooper passed away on May 17th, 2021. ![]()
